Knitting and Stitching Show - ally Pally

Here's a good tip - when you go to a show like the wonderful Knitting and Stitching Show at Alexander Palace - make a pledge not to buy anything you already have stashed away in the 'craft trunk'.

I went today and spent only £4. I bought a transfer pencil (£2.50) (which I may well take out of the bag and use) and a small packet of mixed threads for £1.50 (which I probably won't use because they are a bit cheap and nasty).

But, I had a lovely time - and enjoyed my day just as much as if I had spent the usual £90 on stuff I definitely never used!
